…and I know he watches me. 🙂 My visit to Jacksonville includes Jesus-stuff, smoking, drinking, new livers, questionable footwear retrievals, reasonable groundskeepers and the most significant milestone of my trip.
Let’s see a submarine in South Carolina, try to catch a sunrise, not eat a little fish and let Annie take a little break.
Annie is always the hero of this story. This post documents the best day on two wheels that I have ever had. We ride through the Smoky Mountains and take on The Tail of the Dragon.
Two more places in the Volunteer State remain: Jellico and Knoxville. I visit a museum in a hardware store and cross a new “first” on the trip.
I have a wonderful, restful time as I visit some old friends in north Alabama. This post also includes a six-figure announcement… 🙂
…and the band plays on…
Let’s see…multiple song renditions, new Sonic bearings, strangers becoming friends, the Natchez Trace, cricket darts, an attorney Johnny Cash impersonator, free drinks and cigars, Tom Osborne, a yellow BMW….and that’s just part one!
